KENYA’S DAVID KURIA LEAVES LGBTI ACTIVISM   Kenyan LGBTI activist David Kuria has announced his exit from mainstream LGBTI  activism after a decade of involvement and leadership.
Obama: We Must Stand Up For The Rights Of Gays And Lesbians Everywhere President Obama has issued a memorandum announcing that the fair treatment of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people worldwide is a major priority of United States’ foreign policy and human rights advocacy.

Africa reacts to Obama's pro-gay rights foreign policy  President Obama's promotion of gay rights as a human rights has drawn quick reaction from African governments. Most of Africa's 54 nations ban homosexuality, and the enshrinement of equal rights for homosexuals into US foreign policy activities has sparked heated debate across the continent.
